Acceptable Use Policy
Draft v0.1 · Effective date pending legal review
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to anyone using ITPU Community — participants, speakers, organisers and operators. By signing in or registering for a workshop, you agree to follow this policy.
2. You agree to
- Provide accurate identity information when registering;
- Use only your own Telegram account;
- Show up to workshops you registered for, or release your spot in advance;
- Respect the speakers, organisers and other participants;
- Follow workshop-specific instructions about recording, photography and confidentiality;
- Keep workshop materials private — they are licensed for personal learning, not redistribution.
3. You agree NOT to
- Impersonate another person or organisation;
- Spam, harass, or harm other participants — in person, on Telegram, or via any platform channel;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, our infrastructure, or other users' accounts;
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the system without prior written consent from ITPU;
- Use the platform to advertise products or services not affiliated with ITPU;
- Resell or share registrations, certificates or materials with non-participants;
- Upload illegal, infringing, or otherwise unlawful content as a speaker.
4. Operator responsibilities
ITPU operators (Editor and Admin roles) additionally agree to:
- Access participant data only as needed to perform their duties;
- Never export participant data outside approved systems;
- Use platform features (e.g. Telegram broadcasts) only for legitimate workshop-related purposes;
- Report any incident or security concern to the platform administrator immediately.
5. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in (in order of escalation):
- A warning message via the Telegram bot;
- Cancellation of current and future registrations;
- Suspension of your account;
- Removal from the ITPU community, including reporting to authorities where applicable.
We make enforcement decisions case-by-case. Where possible, we contact you before taking action.
6. Appeals
If you believe an action against your account was taken in error, message the ITPU Community bot or email community@itpu.uz (placeholder) within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by an administrator who was not involved in the original decision.
7. Reporting violations
If you witness behaviour that violates this policy, report it via the ITPU Community bot (command /report) or email community@itpu.uz. We treat reports confidentially.
8. Changes
We update this policy as needed. Material changes will trigger a re-acceptance flow on your next sign-in.
