How can technology help investigate cybercrime, uncover digital traces, and turn data into evidence?
IT Park University invites you to an online Digital Forensics workshop, where an EPAM expert will explore the digital investigation process in practice — from collecting and analyzing data to the legal aspects of handling digital evidence.
During the workshop, you will learn:
— how the full digital investigation cycle works;
— which tools Digital Forensics specialists use;
— how to properly collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence;
— what role legislation plays when working with digital data;
— how data from wearable devices can become a crucial part of an investigation, using the well-known Fitbit Murder case as an example.
Speaker:
— Leonid Akinin — Security Architect I at EPAM, expert in Digital Forensics, OSINT, and Secure Infrastructure, and ITPU lecturer with both legal and technical backgrounds.
The workshop is based on materials from IT Park University’s Master’s program in cybersecurity, but it is open to everyone. It will be especially useful for information security professionals, IT experts and legal professionals involved in investigations, as well as students and anyone interested in cybercrime and digital evidence.
